The Creative Cortex (a small video production company) produced their own personal video projects as experiments with visual storytelling and editing separate from their main business practices. D4Disgruntled was brought into supply music to the various segments of the film.
For this segment, which closes the video, we see images of crowded streets, people everywhere, coming and going before ending on a time lapse of the city skyline turning from day into night.
The music for this segment is stylistically the most different as it is more rock-like. Opening with a cymbal roll and glittery metal tree and a relentless cow bell tapping, a series of stabbing guitar notes in the bass line begin along with the main melody on a rock organ, which is the same used in the first track on strings. A variety of additional percussion drums and effects create the underlying rhythms necessary to drive the music from start to finish.
