  1. TCC Music Library: Traveling In

From the recording Marketing Promos

Share

The Creative Cortex (a small video production company) produced their own personal video projects as experiments with visual storytelling and editing separate from their main business practices. D4Disgruntled was brought into supply music to the various segments of the film.

For the next segment of the video, which takes us through visual travels of public transportation before arriving in downtown, a repeating pattern of 4 upward and downward notes create the hypnotic and sometimes entrancing sensation of being on a train or bus for long periods of time, causing one to get drowsy. Overlays of soft flute and horn like instruments can be heard to continue making the music warm and soft and hypnotic.

As the train gets closer into downtown, the music speeds up. The 4 note pattern speeds up, a metallic like bass line enters and a big melody on ethereal strings cuts through everything at the climax.
